Our staff at Massi's Garden Center is here to help answer any questions you may have about your garden.
* FROST WARNING * The recent warm weather has caused most plants to get an early start. A hard frost can damage flower buds and new growth. We are almost guaranteed a few more frosty mornings before the summer months and you should always be mindful of frost until the end of May. In case of frost bring any annuals you may have outside to a protected area inside. Any trees or shrubs that may be about to flower can be covered with cloth or burlap to keep the frost of the new buds. Pay particular attention to fruit trees and shrubs. A loss of flower buds can result in a loss of fruit for the year.
Massi’s Gardens and Landscaping has been a family owned and operated business since 1928. We offer our customers a wide variety of services and our employees are well versed with years of expertise in all aspects of gardening and landscaping. Massi's Garden Center is a multi-faceted facility which includes our Garden Shop, greenhouse, water gardening, landscaping supplies, and a full line of roses, trees, shrubs, and herbs. We grow 90% of our plants right on site at Massi's. We pride ourselves on quality and with our Integrated Pest Management program we assure our patrons that we are environmentally safe.
Unlike most greenhouses, Massi's is open year round. The fall provides our customers with plants such as mums and pansies, bulbs, pumpkins and other seasonal decorating needs. In the winter season our Garden Shop transforms into a winter wonderland, where our famous poinsettias and custom handmade wreaths will bring the holiday cheer to any house.
